If you have arrived at this page as a Tesla owner, then you already know what a unique car it is. Whichever model you drive, you’ll know that it appears to defy physics with even the ‘slowest’ model being able to reach 60mph from a standing start in 3.5 seconds.
When the Model S performs the same test in just 2.3 seconds, it becomes clear that all of these cars come with some pretty special tyres.
It’s not just about the 0-60 times though, as Tesla tyres need to have very low rolling resistance in order to achieve their incredible driving range, as well as being quiet enough and compliant enough to give a smooth ride.
All tyres are now fitted with acoustic foam to reduce road noise.
Michelin tyres come as Original Equipment on 60% of those vehicles and since the Model 3 is in the top 10 selling cars this year we are now keeping tyres in stock for Tesla range. With Continental and Hankook now also fitted as type approved original equipment, our range has been extended to cover the entire Tesla range.
All tyre manufacturers produce a specific version of their tyres for Tesla so make sure you get the TO fitment to preserve your driving experience.
